Card Payment Process on the enforeDasher 3

With the enforeDasher 3, you can easily accept card payments from your customers via the integrated customer display with payment function. In this How-To, we will show you how to do it.

Requirements

  • You have signed a contract with a payment provider of your choice
  • Your card payment has been activated by the payment provider 
  • You have added the customer display with payment function in the POS menu under Sales > Sales Settings > Device Usage in the Payment terminal field
  • You have activated the Enable Payment Module option in the POS menu under Sales > Sales Settings > Built-in > Customer Display with Payment > Payment Terminal > Payment Module Settings

You have completed an order and now your customer wants to pay by card? Proceed as follows:

  1. Tap on SingleSelectionCheck.svg in the cash register.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.13.04.png
  2. In the Select Payment Method window, select Card Payment under Other.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.36.41.png
  3. If you have set the option to enter a tip, ask your customer to enter one.
    If your customer doesn't want to leave a tip, they can tap None.

    You activate the tip entry in the POS menu under Sales > Sales Settings > Built-in > Customer Display with Payment > Payment Terminal > Payment Module Settings.

  4. Ask your customer to either place their card on the contactless payment field or insert it into the card slot.
  • Place Card

    2. The customer chooses how they would like to receive their receipt.

  • Insert Card

    2. The customer enters their PIN.

    4. The customer chooses how they would like to receive their receipt.
