Card Payment on the enforeDasher 3 - Onboarding

The card payment on your enforeDasher 3 has been successfully activated and you would now like to make test payments to check that everything is working smoothly? No problem. Here you can find out how to proceed after the card payment has been activated on your enforeDasher 3.

Requirements

  • Your enforeDasher 3 has been activated for card payment
  • You have a card to make test bookings with your enforeDasher 3

Check Configuration

First check under Business Account > About enforePOS whether at least version 1.11.0 is installed on your enforeDasher 3. If this is not the case, please contact our enforeCare team at care@enfore.com.

To check whether card payment is provisioned for your device and your configuration is activated, proceed as follows:

  1. In the POS menu, open Business Account > Devices.

  3. Tap on Customer Display with Payment.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.03.44.png⮕ The Device Details window opens.
  4. Tap on Update Configuration.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.04.33.png⮕ After the configuration has been successfully updated, you will hear a beep.
  5. Close the Device Details window by tapping on CloseButton (1).png.

  7. Check whether your customer display is displayed in the Payment terminal and Customer display fields.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.06.03.png ⮕ The green dot indicates that the customer display is active.

You can also set what is shown on your customer display when you take an order and what your customer display looks like in standby mode. You can find out how to do this in the How-To Configuring the Customer Display on the enforeDasher.

Perform Test Bookings

After you have checked the configuration of your enforeDasher 3, you can make a test booking. You will find out how to do this in the following section.

Test bookings must be canceled immediately. It is important that you use the same payment method for payment and payout. Therefore, you should always select Card Reversal as the payout method when canceling card payments.

  1. In the POS menu, open Sales > Register.
  2. Take an order.

    Do not enter a tip for your test bookings, since tips cannot be refunded when canceling the order.

  6. Place your card on your customer display to make the payment.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.26.32.png
  7. Select whether you want to print or send a receipt.
  8. Tap on [Confirm].Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.27.24.png⮕ You have successfully completed the test booking.

Cancel Test Bookings

  1. In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales History.
    ⮕ The view of all completed bookings opens.
  2. Swipe from right to left over your last test booking. It is displayed in the top position.
  3. Tap on CancelItem.svg.Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.29.44.png ⮕ The Void Invoice window opens.
  4. Select any reason for void.
  5. Tap on [Void].Capture d’écran 2024-03-01 à 14.31.44.png⮕ The Void Invoice window opens.

  7. Select whether a receipt is to be issued.
  8. Tap on [Complete].
