Create Sign with QR code for the Installation Instructions of the Progressive Web App

Would you like to give your customers the option of downloading your progressive web app so that they can view your website at any time ? You have the option of creating a sign with your own QR code, which your customers can use to access your individual installation instructions. In this How-To, we will show you how to do it.

Create and Download QR Codes for the Progressive Web App

To create a QR code, open the sign generator. You can find out more in this How-To.

    You can determine the size of your QR code in the Size Format field.

  3. Assign a title, a subtitle and a descriptive text for your sign.
    ⮕ You have successfully set up your sign with QR code.
  4. Tap on Download PDF to download the sign with the QR code as a PDF.Capture d’écran 2024-02-29 à 10.24.10.png ⮕ You have successfully downloaded your sign.

Personalize Installation Page

You have the option of personalizing the landing page that is displayed after scanning the QR code. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Tap on the Install App tab.Capture d’écran 2024-02-29 à 10.25.22.png ⮕ You will be taken to the configuration of your installation page.

    By default, the sample texts and download instructions are displayed in English. You have the option to change the language by tapping on the Change language field, selecting your desired language and then tapping on [Set default language].

  2. Enter your personalized text in the Headline, Intro and Body fields.
    ⮕ You can see the changes directly on the right in the preview.
