In enforePOS, you can issue digital customer cards and send them to your customers via SMS or email. The customer card can be stored in a wallet app on the smartphone (for example, in Apple Wallet on the iPhone).
You can scan the customer card with the camera of the Dasher customer display and thus quickly assign an order to the customer. If you use a barcode scanner, you can also scan the customer card with it.
Scanning the customer card from the smartphone is not supported by 1D barcode scanners such as the Honeywell Voyager 1200g.
Create and send customer card
Requirements
- You have already created the customer in enforePOS
- You have stored the cell phone number or the e-mail address of the customer
- In the POS menu, open Customers > All Customers.
- Select a customer from your list and open the Customer Profile view.
You can also find the customer with the search function. - To create a customer card for your customer, tap on
in the top right corner.
⮕ The Add customer card window opens.
- Issue Customer Card.
- In the next step, select whether the customer card should be sent by SMS to a cell phone or by email.
- In the following window, enter the phone number if the customer card is sent via SMS and confirm with [Confirm].
- Tap [Send].
In the Issue customer card window, the successful dispatch to the customer is confirmed. - To close the window, tap on [Done].
If you sent the customer card via SMS, your customer will receive an SMS with two links. The links are valid for 7 days.
- The first link opens a PDF of the customer card.
The PDF can be printed or saved on the smartphone. - The second link displays the customer card online.
If you want to store the customer card in Apple Wallet, for example, select this link.

Scan customer card on dasher
When your customer is in your store and pays something, you can quickly assign the order to the customer account using the customer card.
- Tap
in the bottom right corner of the Cashier view.
- Select the barcode icon

Scan or enter barcode opens.
- Enable the Dasher Barcode Scanner option.
The customer display indicates that the scanner is ready. - Your customer can now access the customer card in the smartphone and scan it on the Dasher customer display.
- The customer is now assigned to the order in the cash register.
Scanning the customer card barcode works best when the smartphone screen brightness is set to the highest level.
