Issue a Digital Customer Card

In enforePOS, you can issue digital customer cards and send them to your customers via SMS or email. The customer card can be stored in a Wallet app on the smartphone (for example, in Apple Wallet on the iPhone). 

You can scan the customer card with the camera of the Dasher customer display and thus quickly assign an order to the customer. If you use a barcode scanner, you can also scan the customer card with it.

Scanning the customer card from the smartphone is not supported by 1D barcode scanners such as the Honeywell Voyager 1200g.

Create and Send Customer Card

Requirements

  1. In the POS menu, open Customer > All Customers
  2. Select a customer from your list and open the Customer Profile view. 
    You can also find the customer with the search function.

  3. To create a customer card for your customer, tap on CustomerCard-15.svg in the top right corner. Bildschirmfoto_2022-08-16_um_15.49.42.png ⮕ The Add Customer Card window opens.

  5. In the next step, select whether you want to send the customer card by SMS or by email.
  6. In the following window, enter the phone number if you want to send the customer card via SMS and confirm with [Confirm].
  7. Tap on [Send].
    In the Issue Customer Card window, you can see that the card has been sent.
  8. Tap on [Done] to close the window.Bildschirmfoto_2022-08-16_um_15.52.28.png If you sent the customer card via SMS, your customer will receive an SMS with two links. The links are valid for 7 days. Bildschirmfoto 2023-08-09 um 12.48.55.png
    • The first link opens a PDF of the customer card.
      The PDF can be printed or saved on the smartphone.
    • The second link displays the customer card online.

Scan Customer Card on enforeDasher

When your customer is in your store and makes a payment, you can quickly assign the order to the customer's account using the customer card.

  1. Tap FloatingViewMenuAnchor-15.svg in the bottom right corner of the cash register view.

  4. Your customer can now access the customer card in his smartphone and scan it on the Dasher customer display.

Scanning the customer card barcode works best when the smartphone screen brightness is set to the highest level.
