Learn how to install the enforePOS client in Windows or MacOS in this How-To. After installation, your data will be available in the client. You can access and manage your sales items, customers, etc. just like on the enforeDasher.

Install macOS client
- Download the "enforePOS-xxxx.dmg" file.
- Click twice on the download file "enforePOS-xxxx.dmg" to unzip the file on your Mac.
⮕ A window with the terms of use opens. - Read the terms of use and click on [Agree] to agree.
⮕ A window opens.
- Drag and drop the enforePOS app icon to the Applications folder.
⮕ enforePOS has been installed and can now be found in your program folder.
To open enforePOS, you must allow enforePOS to be opened in the Mac's preferences. You can find more information here.
- Click twice on enforePOS in your program folder.
⮕ The message "enforePOS cannot be opened" is displayed. - Open the System Preferences on your Mac.
- Choose Security & Privacy.
- In the Security & Privacy window, select [Open Anyway].
⮕ A message is displayed.
- Select [Open].
From now on, you can open enforePOS as usual.
Install Windows Client
If you already have the Windows client installed and want to update it, please follow the steps described here first before performing the installation.
System requirement :
- Windows 10 (Home / Professional Edition)
- 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
- Download the "enforePOS-xxxx.exe" file.
- Click twice on the "enforePOS-1.0.xx.exe" file to unpack it on your Windows computer.
⮕ A message from Windows Defender may appear. - Click on More info.
⮕ The window expands to include another option.
- Click on [Run anyway].
You can click on [Run anyway] without hesitation because it is a Windows warning to protect the PC from potentially unwanted applications.
- Agree to the license agreement.
- Click on [Next].
⮕ The installation process is started.
Once the installation is successfully completed, the Login dialog box is displayed.
Android Mobile Client
System requirements :
- Android Nougat operating system (version 7.1.1 or higher)
- Working memory from 4 GB
- Resolution at least 1280 x 800
- At least 7" screen size, optimized for tablet use
We recommend the tablets from Lenovo:
- - LENOVO Tab 4 10" Plus, 4 GB RAM, Android 7.1, WiFi model or LTE model
- - LENOVO Tab 4 8" Plus, 4 GB RAM, Android 7.1, WiFi model or LTE model
The Tab 4 models with 64 GB of storage and LTE usually have 4 GB of RAM. We recommend the LTE model especially for outdoor use.

Necessary settings for client
The enforePOS client is listed as a new device in your Business Account and thus counts as an independent cash register.
- To uniquely identify your enforePOS client on the computer, select the existing POS location in the POS Location dialog box after logging in.
- Enter a unique cash register name (for your client) in the Cash register step.
Settings in the Service Areas step are optional.
