In cash reports, collected information about sales, refunds and discounts is documented. In enforePOS, you can display various cash reports, in which gross amounts are documented.
In enforePOS, under Sales Accounting you will find the following cash reports, which we will present to you in this How-To:
Z-report (Business Day)
- You have started your Business Day
The Z report is the end of the day report that enforePOS creates. If you have not yet completed your Business Day, you can view sales from the current Business Day under Current Business Day.
In the History, all completed cash reports are listed chronologically. You have the option to print or email cash reports.
You can find an overview of the Z report sections in the How-To View Z reports.
Staff report (shift)
- The staff member has started their shift
In the Staff section in Accounting, you can find the staff report, which lists the sales generated by the staff member. If the staff member's shift has not yet ended, you can find the sales from the staff member's current shift under Current Shift.
For an overview of the staff report sections, see our How-To View Staff Reports.
In the History, all finished shifts of the staff member are listed chronologically. You have the option to print or email staff reports.
A location report informs you about the sales generated at all cash registers and by all staff members at your POS location. You also have the option of completing the Business Day of your POS location centrally.
If you have not yet completed the Business Day at your POS location, you can view the sales from the current Business Day at the devices and by the staff members registered at the POS location under Current location report in the Individual reports tab.
The Location Report History lists all Z reports and staff reports from the cash registers and staff members registered at the POS location. You have the option to print or email location reports.
The following How-To gives you a detailed overview of location reports:
- To keep a cash ledger in enforePOS, you must complete all cash and staff reports on all cash registers and activate the cash ledger before you start selling and before you put cash in the register.
In the cash ledger, your monthly cash transactions are recorded and displayed in a table.
If you have not yet completed your Business Day, you can view the cash ledger for the current Business Day under Current Cash Ledger.
All cash ledgers are listed in the History. You have the option to send cash ledgers via email.
More about the cash ledger can be found in the How-To Activate Cash Ledger.
The entry with the symbol (in our example cash vault) gives you an overview of your deposits to and withdrawals from the cash vault.
In contrast to the location reports, staff reports and Z reports, you cannot view the monthly reports in detail in enforePOS, but only export them.
In the Previous Years field you can find the reports of the previous years.
Under Administration, the cash reports of all registers, staff, cash ledgers and cash vaults in enforePOS are displayed.
All your cash registers - both active and decommissioned - are listed under All Registers, including POS location and register type. Tap on a cash register to find all reports of that cash register. The overview is divided into Current Business Day and Closed Business Days. Z reports are numbered and sorted chronologically by date.
Under All Staff, you will find all created staff members. Tap on a staff member to open the staff reports. The overview is divided into Current Business Day and Completed Business Days. The reports are numbered and sorted chronologically by date.
Under All Location Reports, you will find all reports generated at the respective POS location.
The cash ledgers of all POS locations are listed under All Cash Ledgers.
Tap on a POS location to display all cash ledgers at that POS location chronologically.
Tap on a month to display all cash ledgers from that month chronologically.
Under All Cash Vaults you will find the cash vaults you have created and their respective POS location.
