You usually set the network settings right after turning on your enfore device for the first time. However, if you want to change your network connection afterwards, e.g. from Wi-Fi to Ethernet connection, proceed as follows:
In our example, we are changing the network connection from an enfore Comet.

Via Device Settings
To change the network connection via the device settings, proceed as follows:- Open the POS menu.
- Tap on
Lock screen.
⮕ The lock screen appears.
Alternatively, you can access the lock screen by signing out of your business account and then closing the login screen.
- Tap on
.
⮕ The Device Settings window opens.
- Connect your enfore device with an Ethernet cable.
- In the left column, tap on Cable.
⮕ The Ethernet settings were automatically recognized and added to the fields.
- Tap on Wi-Fi.
- Turn off Wi-Fi.
⮕ Network settings have been changed.
- To close the Device Settings window, tap on

Via Sales Settings
To change the network connection via the sales settings, proceed as follows:- In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Settings.
- Connect your enfore device with an Ethernet cable.
- In the left column, tap on Cable.
⮕ The Ethernet settings were automatically recognized and added to the fields.
- Tap on Wi-Fi.
- Turn off Wi-Fi.
⮕ The network settings have been changed.
