Reservations - Create tables as resources

In order to create and manage table reservations in enforePOS, the tables in your restaurant must be created as resources once. In doing so you also indicate, for example, how many seats are available in each case. In addition, the relevant table service must be linked to the tables.

NOTE:
 It does not matter whether you first create the table as a resource or the table service. You can link the two afterwards.

Overview:

Create a table with the number of seats

  1. In the POS menu, open Reservations > Resources.
  2. Switch to the Equipment tab.
  3. To create a table as a new resource, tap in the overview in the header [Add.svg].

  4. In the Create new Resource window, select the Table option.

    ⮕ The Create new Table window opens.

  5. Enter the following information in the step Identity:
    Name: Give the table a name.
    Short name: If you wish, you can give it a short name as well.
    Seats: Set the number of seats here.
    Location: Define, at which POS location this table should be reservable.
  6. Click on [Next].

  7. If you have already created table services, select the table services offered for this table in the Table Services step.
    If you have not yet created any table services, skip this step. You can  also link this table to a table service at a later time. 
  8. Tap on [Complete].

    ⮕ The Create new Table window closes. 
    Your successfully created table will be displayed in the resources overview.

Create additional tables by duplicating

To quickly create more tables, you can duplicate any table.

  1. To do this, swipe the entry from right to left to access the function menu.
  2. Then tap on Clone-15.svg.

    ⮕ The Create new Table window opens. A copy with all the characteristics of the duplicated table is created.

  3. In the Identity step, enter the following information that differ from the duplicated table:
    Name: Give the table a name.
    Short name: If you wish, you can give it a short name as well.
    Seats: Set the number of seats here.
    Location: Define, at which POS location this table should be reservable.
  4. Confirm your details with [Next].

  5. If you have already created table services, select the table services offered for this table in the Table Services step.
    If you have not yet created any table services, skip this step. You can  also link this table to a table service at a later time. 
  6. Tap on [Complete].

    Your successfully duplicated table is displayed in the resources overview.

Linking the table to the table service later on

  1. To add a table service to a table later, tap on the table in the POS menu under Reservations > Resources > Equipment tab.

    ⮕ The view to the details of the table opens.

  2. Switch to the Table Services tab.
  3. Select the desired table service(s) under Services offered.

    You have successfully linked the table with the table service.
