With the enforePOS online presence, you can enable your customers to reserve a table online. In this How-To we will show you how to manage your received online table reservations.
Requirements
- You have created an online presence
- You offer table reservations on your online presence
- You have created tables as resources
- You have created table services and linked them to your tables
- Your customer has reserved a table on your online presence
Accept Online Table Reservations

Setting: Reservations must be confirmed
Requirement
- You have activated the Reservation must be confirmed option under Sales Sales channels (select online sales channel) Modules tab Table reservation module, Reservation management area
- In the POS menu, open Reservations Inbox.
⮕ Here you have an overview of all reservations, along with the free tables, which you can assign to the reservations. - Tap on the reservation.
- Select the table for the reservation.
- Tap [Confirm].
⮕ Your customer will receive an automatic reservation confirmation via email or SMS.

Setting: Reservations do not have to be confirmed
Requirement
- You have deactivated the Reservation must be confirmed option under Sales Sales Channels (select online sales channel) Modules tab Table Reservation module, Reservation Management area
With this setting you do not have to confirm reservations manually. The reservations will be displayed in the Confirmed section.
Exempt from this are reservations of new customers. These must always be confirmed manually, even if the Reservation must be confirmed option is deactivated. The purpose of this is to avoid reservations with falsified customer data. After you have once confirmed the reservation of a new customer, further reservations of this customer are automatically accepted and displayed in the Confirmed area.

in the Reservations area.
⮕ The Available Slots view opens.
⮕ You have an overview of all reservations. Your customers have already received an automatic reservation confirmation via email or SMS.
You can access the customer profile from the reservation inbox and make customer-specific comments in the Notes tab. When you open the customer profile again, the Notes tab opens first, so you can view important information about the customer directly. You can access the customer profile when you create the reservation.
If your customer makes an annotation during the online reservation, the Notes tab will open first when you call up the reservation in enforePOS, so that the annotations are displayed immediately.
In the reservation overview, you can see how many of the seats at a table are occupied at a reserved time:
2/5 means that the table has 5 seats, of which 2 seats are occupied.
Check In Online Table Reservation
When your customer shows up on the day of the reservation, your first step is to check in the reservation.
- In the POS menu, open Reservations Active Reservations.
⮕ The Active Reservations view opens. - Select the reservation in the overview on the right.
⮕ The window with the detailed view of the reservation opens.
- Tap [Checkin].
If the customer has arrived but the table is not yet free, select the [Arrived] option.
⮕ The reservation has been checked in successfully.
Now you can book orders on the reserved table. To do this, tap on the order switcherin the cash register (in the POS menu under Sales Register) and select the table in the Floor Plan overview or the reservation in the Reservations overview. You can find more information here.
Note that to do this, you need to activate the Reservation settlement in the cash register function in the POS menu under Reservations Reservation Settings General tab.
Check Out Online Table Reservation
When you customer wants to leave, you can check out the reservation.
To check out the reservation in the cash register, activate the Reservation settlement in the cash register function in the POS menu under Reservations Reservation Settings General tab.
- Select the reservation in the overview on the right.
⮕ The window with the detailed view of the reservation opens.
- Tap [Checkout].
⮕ The reservation is successfully checked out.
- Check out the reservation in the cash register.
After checkout, you can find the completed reservation under Reservations Reservation History in the Completed tab.
