Create Reservations for Walk-in Customers

In addition to online reservations received via your website, you can also create reservations for walk-in customers in enforePOS. You will learn how to do this in this How-To.

In enforePOS, you can create reservations in several ways. This How-To describes how to create reservations via Reservations > Active reservations.
You can find out how to create reservations via Reservations > Inbox in the How-To Create, check in and check out service reservations.
You can find out how to create reservations in the Calendar overview in the How-To Create and Edit Reservations in the Calendar.

  1. In the POS menu, open Reservations > Active Reservations.
  2. Select the service and the start time for the reservation.Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.27.31.png You will see all staff members who are available for the selected service at the selected start time.
  3. Tap on the staff member to whom you want to assign this reservation.Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.29.14.png⮕ The Details window opens.
  4. In the Add Customer Name... field, enter the name of the customer.

  5. If you have already created the customer in enforePOS, the name of the customer will appear in the Search Results when you type it in. In this case, select the customer.

  6. If you have not yet created the customer, tap on Create New Customer to add the name and contact details at this point.Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.30.12.png⮕ The Create Private Customer window opens.

  7. Enter the customer's mobile phone, home phone, email and/or home address here. 

  8. Tap on [Create Customer].Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.30.59.png⮕ The Create Private Customer window closes.
  9. In the Via field, select the channel through which you received this reservation (call/email, etc.).

    Optionally, you can enter special requests. Tap on Special to do this.

  10. Tap on [Save].Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.32.14.png⮕ The Reservation Details window opens. Here you have the opportunity to check and edit your reservation details.
  11. Tap on Confirm to create the reservation.Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.36.26.png⮕ The reservation has been successfully created. Depending on the contact details you entered when creating the customer, your customer will receive an automatic reservation confirmation by email or text message.Screenshot 2024-02-26 at 11.37.18.png  You can also find the reservation in the Calendar overview.
