In this How-To, you will learn about the settings you can make for your reservation notifications.
From the POS menu, open Reservations > Reservation Settings > Notifications tab.
Here you select the type of confirmation for incoming reservations, both online and on-site.
The confirmation Via Email is always enabled for both online and on-site reservations and cannot be deactivated.
In the Active Reminders field, you select when your customer should be reminded of an existing reservation. The reminder will then be sent automatically by enforePOS.
- Tap on the Active Reminders field.
- Choose when you want your customers to receive the reminder.
You can choose from the options Few hours before the reservation, One day before the reservation, Two days before the reservation, One week before the reservation and One month before the reservation.
⮕ As soon as you have selected a time, the email notification is activated for both reservation types.
- (De)activate the desired notifications.
Only after an Active Reminder has been selected is it possible to select the communication channels.
Choose Active Reminders in such a way that your customers don't feel overly "reminded". A detailed list of the actual sending times of the reminders can be found in the table below.

Request for reconfirmation
In this window, you define how your customer should be asked for a mandatory reconfirmation. In order for your customer to be asked for a mandatory reconfirmation, you must enable this option on the service.
Choose here how you want to confirm incoming cancelations.
