Enable Communication between Kitchen and Service with enforePOS

  • Updated

Do you want to keep your kitchen or restaurant staff up to date with all the information about your guests and their orders, and ensure good communication between your kitchen and service? In this How-To, we'll show you how to use the course control in enforePOS and a few little tricks to always quickly inform your staff members.

Thanks to the possibility to add options to free Build to Order sales items and link them to an assembly location, you can quickly and discreetly store information about customer requests or the current delivery status of the order. This information can be, for example, the course retrieval, the quick sending of the order or even individual comments about the operation. In this How-To, we'll show you three use cases, which you can apply.

Requirements

To make sure that the free options of your Build to Order sales item do not appear on the receipt, first make the following setting:

  1. In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Settings.
  2. Switch to the General overview.
  3. Enable the option Do not show free options on Invoice.1_EN.png ⮕ You have successfully enabled the option. From now on, free options will not be displayed on the receipt.
