You want to accept card payments on your enforeDonner or on your enforePayPad+ and your contract has already been confirmed by the payment provider? In this How-To you will learn which steps are necessary to activate the card payment on your device.
Information on the enforePayPad+ is not relevant for Switzerland.
Requirements
- You have signed a contract with a payment provider of your choice
- Your card payment has been activated by the payment provider
Restart your enforeDonner/enforePayPad+
To download the payment provider configurations to your device, restart your enforeDonner/enforePayPad+:
- Press and hold the power button on the right side of the device for a few seconds.
⮕ The Switch off or Restart selection appears. - Tap on [Restart].
⮕ Your device will restart.
Check the status of the payment terminal at the cash register.
You can check the status of the payment terminal in the settings of your cash register.
If you are using an enforeDonner, you can check the status directly in the enforeDonner settings.
If you use an enforePayPad+ you will find the corresponding information in the settings of the cash register to which the enforePayPad+ is assigned.
If you have not yet assigned your enforePayPad+ to a cash register, first follow the steps in the How-To Sales Settings - Device Usage.
- In the POS menu open Sales > Sales Settings.
- Switch to Device Usage.
- Check the status in the field payment terminal:
- If a green dot appears next to the payment module, the payment module is active.
If this is the case, make a test payment. - If a red dot appears, the payment configuration must be loaded first.
We explain to you how to do that under Reload payment configuration.
- If a green dot appears next to the payment module, the payment module is active.
Reload payment configuration
- Lock the screen of the enforeDonner or enforePayPad+.
- enforePayPad+: Press the button on the right side of the device.
- enforeDonner:
- Swipe from the left edge across the display to open the POS menu.
- Tap on Lock screen.
- Tap on
at the bottom right.
⮕ The device settings open.
- Tap on Payment Terminal.
- Swipe to get to the end of the menu.
- Tap on [Update configuration].
⮕ The configuration is updated automatically. Then check the status of the payment module again in the settings of your cash register.
If you receive the message Server command failed, contact our Care Team.
Make a test payment
- Open Sales > Cash register.
- Tap on
at the bottom right.
⮕ The Enter quantity window opens.
- Tap on price.
- Enter 1 cent as the amount.
- Tap on
.
⮕ The amount will appear in the basket of your cash register.
- Tap on

⮕ The Select payment method window opens.
