Copy Sales Item

In this How-To, we will show you how to copy sales items already created in enforePOS and how to adjust individual information in order to create new sales items quickly and easily.

1. From the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Items.
2. Swipe from right to left on the sales item you want to copy.
3. Tap on to copy the sales item.
   ⮕ The sales item information window opens.
4. Type in the following data in the Identity step:
   • Name: Give a name to the sales item.
   • Brand: Type the brand of the sales item.
   • Sales Category: Choose a sales category for the sales item.
   • Article Number: Assign an item number for the sales item.
   • EAN: Type in the EAN number of the sales item.
   • Manufacturer: Type the manufacturer name of the sales item.
   • Sales Type: Define the form of sale of the sales item (over the counter, pickup, delivery)
   • Assembly locations: Determine at which assembly locations the sales item will be prepared.
   • Description: Type a description for the sales item.
5. Confirm your details with [Next].
6. In the Availability step, type in the following data or make the following settings:
   • Sales Unit: Determine the sales unit here.
   • Price/unit: Define the price per unit. You also have the possibility to define another tax key, if needed.
   • Do not apply discounts: Activate this function if you do not want to apply discounts to this sales item.
   • Available for sale: Activate this function if you want the sales item to be available for sale.
   • Sales Channels: Specify here the sales channels where the sales item may be sold.
7. Confirm your entries with [Next].
8. In the Purchasing step, type in the following data or make the following settings:
   Purchase unit: Determine the purchasing unit here.
   Purchase price/unit: Define the purchase price per unit.
   Available for purchase: Activate this function if you want the sales item to be available for purchase.
   Track Inventory: Enable this function if you want to track the stock taking of this sales item.
   Tracking Unit: Define here in which unit the sales item should be managed.
   Display unit: Specify here in which unit the sales item should be displayed.
   Supplier: Specify a supplier for the sales item here.
9. To assign a related product to the sales item, tap [+ Add Related Product] in the Related step.
10. Tap [Create] at the end to successfully create the copy. ⮕ You have copied the sales item, edited individual information and thus now quickly and easily created a new sales item.

If you copy a Build to Order sales items, the options assigned to that item will also be copied.
