In this How-To you will learn how to change an already selected payment method of an invoice. Whether the payment is to be changed from cash to credit card, from credit card to another credit card or to invoice, the selected payment method can be changed subsequently.
Requirements
You have already checked out an order in enforePOS
In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales History.
Tap on the invoice whose payment method you want to change. ⮕ The Invoice window opens. Here you can find the details of the invoice. In this view you can already see that the payment method of the selected invoice is cash.
Tap on the Payments tab.
Swipe from right to left on your payment information.
Tap on . ⮕ The Change Payment window opens.
Select here the payment method you want to change the payment to. In our example, we select Credit card Manual.
Tap on [Next]. ⮕ The Cash Refund window displays the changed payment method and the refund amount. If you have a cash drawer, it will open.
Tap [Next]. ⮕ The Payment & Tipping window opens. Here you can optionally add a tip.
Add a tip if you wish to.
Tap on [Next]. ⮕ The Receipt window opens.
Select here if you want to receive a receipt and if so, how. In our example, we choose Printout.
Tap on [Next]. ⮕ The payout receipt is printed out: ⮕ You have successfully changed the payment method of the invoice. The Invoice window opens. In this window, the details of the changed payment method are displayed. You will see the original payment, the cancelled payment as well as the current payment method.
