POS location sales without an assigned staff member (counter sales)
Do you want to implement counter sales, which means that the sale of a sales item is assigned to your POS location rather than to a staff member? You will learn how to do that in this How-To.
Requirements
You have enabled the options Assign staff member to each sales item and Allow location sales without assigned staff member under Sales > Sales Channels in the Sales tab
Counter Sales in the Cash Register
In the POS menu, open Sales > Register.
Select the sales item you want to sell. ⮕The Select Staff Member window opens.
To assign the sale of the sales item to the POS location and thus create a counter sale, tap on Do not assign sales to a staff member. ⮕ The sales item is marked as Counter Sale in the basket and can now be checked out.
It is possible to assign individual sales items to different staff members within a checkout process. In this process, the option Counter Sale is treated like a staff member.
