Edit or Remove Price Variants

In this How-To you will learn how to edit already created price variants, assign them to an assembly location or delete them. 

To edit a price variant, proceed as follows:

1. From the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Items.
2. Select the sales item with the price variant you want to edit. ⮕ The window of the corresponding sales item opens.

Edit Price Variant

You want to edit the price or the name of your price variant? To do this, follow these steps: 

1. Tap on the price variant whose price or name you want to change. ⮕ The Edit price variant window opens.
   

   A maximum of 5 price variants can be edited after they have been created. It is not possible to display more than 5 price variants in the sales item settings.

2. In the Identity tab, you can make the following changes: 
   • Variant name: you can change the name of your price variant in this field.
   • Article number: here you can subsequently add the article number of your price variant or change the article number already added.
   • To assign the price variant to an assembly location, tap on [+ Assembly Locations]. ⮕ The window expands by one additional field.
   • Assembly locations: if you have multiple assembly locations, select the assembly location or POS location where you want the price variant to appear.
3. Switch to the Pricing tab to make price-related changes.
4. In the Pricing tab, you can make the following changes:
   • Price: you can change the price per unit in this field. 
   • To add a Take Away price or a reference price, tap on [+ Prices]. ⮕ The window expands to include additional fields. 
   • Take Away Price: enter the Take Away price per unit in this field.
   • Reference price: add the reference price here.

     The reference price is a comparative price that is used as a reference basis for other sales items. The reference price (reference price unit) is calculated starting from the sales price of the sales item (conversion unit). The units must be compatible with each other (e.g. milliliters and milliliters or liters and milliliters).

5. Tap on [Confirm] to save the changes.

Remove price variant

1. Swipe from right to left in the price variant field of the price variant you want to remove. 
2. Then tap on . ⮕ The confirmation prompt window opens. 
3. Tap on [Confirm] to finally delete the price variant. ⮕ The price variant was successfully deleted.
