How do I start the remote maintenance access?

Remote access allows enforeCare staff members to connect to your enfore device to assist you with setup or troubleshooting. 

• Lock screen

  1. Tap on at the bottom right. 
     
  2. Select System Information in the left pane. 
  3. Tap on [Start remote maintenance access]. 
     ⮕ A window opens with a six-digit remote maintenance access code. 
  4. Tell the enforeCare staff member the six-digit remote access code.
     ⮕ You have successfully started the remote maintenance. Our enforeCare staff members can now view your enforePOS and assist you with your request.

• Business Account Devices

  1. In the POS menu, open Business Account > Devices.
     ⮕ The view for the cash register settings opens. 
  2. Tap on the Info button in the upper right corner .
     ⮕ The Device information window opens.
  3. Tap on [Start remote maintenance access].
     
     ⮕ A window opens with a six-digit remote maintenance access code. 
  4. Provide the enforeCare staff member with the six-digit remote access code. 
     ⮕ You have successfully started the remote maintenance. Our enforeCare staff members can now view your enforePOS and assist you with your request.

• Business Account About enforePOS

  1. In the POS menu, open Business Account > About enforePOS.
  2. Tap on Start remote maintenance access in the Device information area.
     ⮕ A window opens with a six-digit remote maintenance access code. 
  3. Provide the enforeCare staff member with the six-digit remote access code.⮕ You have successfully started the remote maintenance. Our enforeCare staff members can now view your enforePOS and assist you with your request.
