Deactivate Cash Management during an Ongoing Shift

You have the option of deactivating cash management during an ongoing shift. However, the setting you have made only becomes active after you have started the next shift. If you deactivate cash management during the current shift and you have money in your cash container, you can continue to check out orders as normal with cash management activated until you start your next shift. You will then be asked to take your cash out of your cash container at the end of your shift. In the following, we will show you how to do this:

  1. Select the No Cash Management option in the staff member's Cash Container tab.6_EN.png⮕ You have ended cash management during the current shift.
  2. Open More > Accounting in the POS menu.
  3. Tap on your name in the Staff members / This device section.
  4. Tap on [End Shift].

Cash management at the Cash Register and on the Staff Member

If you have cash management enabled at both the cash register and the staff member, and you have selected a cash container that is not connected, you will receive the following message when you open an order taking module or start the business day from an order taking module:

In this case, disable either cash management at the cash register or cash management at the staff member. Alternatively, you can select a connected cash drawer if you have a cash drawer connected to your enfore device. You can learn more about this in the How-To Assign Connected Cash Drawer to Staff Members.
