Create a Deposit and Add it to a Sales Item

You can sell deposits together with corresponding sales items in enforePOS and also take them back. To do this, you need to create a deposit as a sales item. In this How-To, we will show you how to do it. 

Check with your tax advisor regarding taxation of deposits and sales items associated with a deposit.

Create deposit

  1. Open Sales > Sales Items in the POS menu.
  2. Tap on [Plus.svg] in the upper right corner.

  5. In the Identity step, define an obvious name for the deposit. In the example we choose deposit € 0.25.
  6. Tap on [Next].11.png
  7. Fill in the fields in the Sales step.
  8. Tap on [Next].12.png

    Deposit is taxed by default and can’t be combined with discounts.

  9. Define sales forms and sales channels in the Sales Channels step. 
  10. Available for sale is enabled by default and must remain enabled for you to sell the deposit. 
  11. Tap on [Create].13.png
    ⮕ The deposit was created as a sales item.

Add deposit to a sales item

  1. From the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Items.
  2. Tap on the sales item you want to assign the deposit to. 
    ⮕ You are in the overview of the sales item.

  3. Switch to the Related tab.

  6. In the Item field, select the previously created deposit. Bildschirmfoto_2022-09-05_um_11.24.52.png
  7. Tap on [Complete].
    ⮕ The deposit was added to the sales item.16.png
    ⮕ If you now sell the sales item (in the example Coke), the deposit is added automatically.15.png
