Online Presence - Add Legal Information (Terms of Service, Imprint, etc.)

If you choose to create a public profile in the Business Account, you will first enter the mandatory legal information for your website and all the information to present your company.

If you do not have your own online presence (website) with the required information, enter the mandatory information in the POS menu under Business Account > Public Profile. 

In order for the Public Profile menu item to be displayed, you must enter the preview code opr-preview in enforePOS in the POS Menu under Business Account > About enforePOS. Do not hesitate to contact our Care Team at care@enfore.com if you have any question.

If you have your own website, where the required information is already available, you can view the mandatory information in the POS menu under Sales > Sales Channels > Online Sales Channels > Profile > Legal Information.

Make Mandatory Entries

You create your website under Sales > Sales Channels. It will not be visible until you have entered the mandatory information under Business Account > Public Profile or, if you already have your own online presence, under Sales Channel > Online Sales Channel > Profile > Legal Information.

If the mandatory information has not yet been entered, a hint is displayed under Sales > Sales Channels:

In order for your website to go online, you must enter the mandatory information (imprint, terms of service, privacy policy, declaration of revocation (only for the online shop)).

Open Business Account > Public Profile in the POS menu.

• Imprint (3)
  Any website that is not exclusively private (i.e. only for friends and family) must contain an imprint. The imprint is also called provider identification. In Germany, you can find the legal basis in the German Telemedia Act (TMG), § 5 General Information Requirements. We recommend that you consult with an expert.
• Terms of Service (1)
  In the terms of service, you define the terms of the contract between you and your customers. We recommend to let a lawyer review your terms of service.
• Privacy Policy (2)
  As the operator of a website, you must inform users about the collection and use of personal data. This is the case, for example, when your customers need to enter an email address or phone number to make a reservation. We recommend to let a lawyer review your privacy policy.
• Declaration of Revocation (online shop only)
  As the operator of an online shop, you must inform users about the conditions and modalities of a return of goods in a declaration of revocation. We recommend that you consult with an expert.

Enter Information about your Company

To tell more about your company, you can also enter texts for the following sections on your website under Business Account > Public Profile: 

• Subheading of your business (4)
  Here you can enter a slogan for your business. This text will be shown on all pages with your company name and logo.
• Mission of your business (5)
  Here you can enter the mission statement of your business. This text will be displayed on your home page under the photos.
• Short intro of your business (6)
  Here you can describe your business in more detail. This text will be shown in the About Us section of your website. If you do not enter anything, the About Us section will not be displayed.

Link to the Mandatory Information on your own Website

If you want to add your own URLs linking to your own web pages instead of the legal information generated by enfore, select them in the POS menu under Sales Channels > Online Sales Channels > Profile > Legal Information.

• the Privacy Policy URL
• the Declaration of Revocation URL
• the Imprint URL
