You can create and sell different types of vouchers in enforePOS. The different voucher types in enforePOS are:
Gift Card : applies to the total basket amount.
Gift Card : with the option of pre-printed gift cards.
Sales Category Voucher : applies to any sales item in a specific sales category.
Product Voucher: applies to a specific product.
Information on product vouchers is not relevant for Switzerland.
Create Sales Voucher
To create a new voucher, proceed as follows:
In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Items.
Tap on .
Choose Sales Item. ⮕ The Define Type of Sales Item window opens.
Tap on Voucher. ⮕ The Create Sales Voucher window opens.
Gift Card
In the first step Type, tap on Gift Card.
In the Identity step, enter the gift card's key data, such as Name, Article ID, and EAN.
You must at least give a name to the gift card in order to create it.
Select whether you would like to use pre-printed vouchers to create individual vouchers.
Tap on [Next].
Make the following specifications in the Sales step:
Sales Amount: set the price at which the voucher will be sold.
You can also create an individual voucher by leaving the amount open, so that you can use the voucher as you wish.
Tax: choose between the different voucher types for tax purposes:
Multi Purpose Voucher: multi-purpose voucher, i.e. the tax for a multi-purpose voucher becomes relevant only at the time of redemption and is charged at the appropriate tax rate.
Single-purpose voucher standard tax: the standard tax rate is already applied to the voucher when it is issued.
Single-purpose voucher reduced tax: the reduced tax rate is already applied to the voucher when it is issued.
Single-purpose vouchers agricultural products: the voucher is already charged with the tax rate for agricultural products when it is issued.
Single Purpose Vouchers Forestry Products: the voucher is already charged with the tax rate for forestry products when it is issued.
Exclude from Discounts: activate this option if you do not want to discount the voucher.
Sales Category: optionally assign the voucher to a sales category.
Tap on [Next].
In the Availability step, enter in which form the voucher is available. Specify the sales type (Over the Counter, Pickup, Delivery), then define through which sales channels the voucher will be sold, and select whether the voucher should be available for sales.
Tap on [Create].⮕ The newly created voucher is listed in the Voucher tab.
Category Voucher
Tap on Sales Category Voucher in the Type step.
In the Identity step, enter the data of the category voucher, such as Name, Article ID, and EAN.
Tap on [Next].
In the Sales Category step, select the sales categories that can be redeemed with the coupon. In our example, we choose Coffee Beans.
Tap on [Next].
Make the following specifications in the Sales step:
Sales Amount: set the price at which the voucher will be sold.
You can also create an individual voucher by leaving the amount open, so that you can use the voucher as you wish.
Tax: choose between the different voucher types for tax purposes:

Tap on [Create].⮕ The newly created voucher is listed in the Voucher tab.
Product Voucher
Tap on Product Voucher in the Type step.
Enter the following information in the Identity step:
Product: select the sales item that is the subject of your voucher. In our example, we choose Movie ticket.
Sales Unit: specify how many units of sales items the voucher contains. In our example, 10 movie tickets are included in the voucher.
Price: enter the price at which the voucher will be sold. In our example, the voucher costs €125.
Quantity: enter the quantity in which the voucher is sold. In our example, the voucher is sold in single quantity.
Tap on [Next].
Make the following specifications in the Sales step:
Exclude from Discounts: this option is enabled by default. Uncheck the option if discounts can be applied to the voucher.
Sales Category: optionally assign the voucher to a sales category.
Tap on [Next].
In the Availability step, enter in which form the voucher is available. Specify the sales type (Over the Counter, Pickup, Delivery), define through which sales channels the voucher will be sold, and select whether the voucher is available for sales.
Tap on [Create].⮕ The newly created voucher is listed in the Voucher tab.
Once the voucher has been sold, the customer will receive the voucher either printed, by email, or by SMS, depending on the type of voucher they have requested.
Duplicate Voucher
You can duplicate an already created voucher, e.g. if you want to sell the same voucher with a different value.
In our example, we create two more vouchers by copying an existing voucher.
Proceed as follows:
Swipe from right to left on the voucher to open the function menu.
Tap on to copy the voucher.
Adjust your details to modify the voucher. After you have created your voucher, all new vouchers will be displayed in the Vouchers tab.
