In this How-To, we will show you how to create and edit storage locations in enforePOS. You will also learn how to work with stock movements and the filters there.
In the POS menu, open Inventory > Storage Locations.
Here you get an overview of your storage locations (1), you can create additional storage locations (2) or edit your storage locations later (3).
From the list on the left, tap on the storage location you want to get an overview of. The Inventory and Movements tabs are displayed for your selected storage location.
Tab Inventory
The Inventory tab is displayed. Here you can see which items you have in stock, how many are available or planned, etc.
Movements Tab
The Movements tab gives you an overview of all your stock movements. You can filter by sales item or item number, as well as by period, by type and by reason of goods movement.
Tap on the Movements tab.⮕ You will be shown all movements in your storage location unfiltered.
In addition to the name and the number of your sales item, you will see the change in stock. The reason for the stock change, the date and the time are also displayed.
Filter Movements
Enter a sales item or item number to filter by.
The search process starts as soon as you enter it.
In addition to the free text search Filter Movements, in which you can search for your own terms, you can use predefined filter criteria.
Filter by time Period of Stock Movement
Select the time period in which the stock movements took place. You can also define a custom time period.
Filter by Type of Stock Movement
Filter here by type of goods movement.
Goods receipts are displayed when the stock of a product has increased and goods issues when it has decreased. Transfers are displayed if you have previously transferred stock between two storage locations.
Filter by Reason of Stock Movement
Filter here by the reason for the goods movement.
By specifying a reason, you further restrict the type of goods movement. For example, the stock of a product was reduced by a sale or increased by a purchase.
Sort View by Sales Item and Type of Inventory Movement
Tap on to change the list view.
You will view a list of the inventory movements of your sales items summarized by sales item and type of inventory movement.
Create new Storage Location/Edit Storage Location
To create a new storage location or edit an existing one, proceed as follows:
Tap on to create a new storage location or on to edit a storage location that has already been created. In our example, we create a new storage location.
When creating and editing storage locations, the same dialog window opens.
⮕ The Storage location dialog box opens.
Enter the name of the storage location in the first field.
Confirm with .
Tap on POS location and select the POS location that you want to associate with the storage location.
Select a staff member under Responsible (optional).
Tap on to save your entries.⮕ You have created or edited a new storage location. The Storage Location is now displayed in the Storage Locations column.
