Assign User Rights

When you have created staff members, you have the possibility to assign them different user rights. You can define which staff member has access to which areas in enforePOS, so that everyone only has access to the functions that are important for their work.

The settings of user rights and the assignment of individual staff members to user levels have far-reaching effects in enforePOS. Assignment of user rights affects the view of the entire POS menu - areas non visible for a non-authorized staff member.

To change settings in the user rights, your account must have the necessary user rights assigned or be assigned to the appropriate permission level. As the owner, you have all permissions.

Set User Access Rights

  1. Open Business Account > User Access Rights.
⮕ The Settings overview opens. Here you can assign the rights for the different modules.
  2. Tap on the module for which you want to change the user rights.
1_EN.png⮕ The window of the selected module opens.
  3. Choose between:

Owner only: Only the owner can access the module.

All staff members: All staff members can access the module.

Selected staff members: Only the staff members you select in the list can access the module.

Authorization Level: If you have already created authorization levels and assigned employees to the authorization levels, you can define here from which authorization level staff members have access to the module.

Authorization levels build on each other. An employee with the highest authorization level (authorization level 1) has automatically all authorizations of the authorization levels below (i.e. authorization level 2, 3, etc.). You can find more information about permission levels here.

  4. If only selected staff members should have access, tap Selected staff members.
  5. Select the appropriate staff members.
  6. Tap on [Confirm].7_EN.png⮕ The selected staff members has been granted the corresponding user right.
    2_EN.png

As the owner, you always have access to all modules, regardless of the settings.

  7. If you want to authorize the access only from a certain permission level, tap Authorization Level

To work with permission levels, you must first create and assign them to staff members. We explain how this works here.

  8. Select the permission level from which access should exist.
  9. Optionally select additional staff members who should have access regardless of their permission level.
  10. Tap [Confirm].3_EN.png⮕ The corresponding user rights have been assigned.
