Unlock Cash Register with Digital Waiter Key

Your staff members want to access quickly to your cash register and work on orders? In enforePOS, you can assign a digital waiter key to each of your staff members. We explain to you how to proceed in this How-to.

In the current version, enforePOS supports the GIGASET G-Tag Bluetooth system (model number S30852-H2655-R113, S30852-H2655-R10X), which is commercially available.

Assign digital waiter key

1. Open Business Account > Staff Members in the POS menu.
2. Swipe from right to left on the staff member to open the function menu.
3. Tap on . ⮕ The Beacon Assignment window opens.
4. Hold the digital waiter key on the right edge of the enforeDasher until it is automatically recognized.

   On the enforeDasher 2, hold the digital waiter key below to the right of the power button below the display until it is automatically recognized.

   
5. Tap on to confirm the digital waiter key. 

The staff member can unlock the screen at any time with the digital waiter key.

The screen lock can now be released at any time using the digital waiter key, provided that staff member have logged into enforePOS when they start work.

If cell phones or other devices with Bluetooth connection turned on are near the enforeDasher, the waiter key may not be recognized immediately. Turn off Bluetooth on the other devices or remove them from the enforeDasher.

Cancel assignment

To unassign a digital waiter key, proceed as follows:

1. Open Business Account > Staff Members in the POS menu.
2. Swipe from right to left on the staff member to open the function menu.
3. Tap on . ⮕ The assignment is cancelled immediately and without demand.

The digital waiter key is released again and can now be assigned to another staff member.
