Create Option Groups

In enforePOS, you can create options. These options can be combined, edited and managed in option groups. One advantage of option groups is that the different options can be quickly linked to sales items such as latte macchiato. If you want to adjust the price of an option, you can now edit it in one place in enforePOS and apply the new price to all linked sales items.

Options and option groups can only be linked to Build to Order sales items in enforePOS. 

Case study: In the example, the option group Milk is created with the option Cow's milk.  

1. In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Items > Overview Options > Tab Option groups.
2. Tap [+ Add Option Group].
3. Enter the name of the new option group, e.g. Milk, and tap .
    ⮕ The Create Option Group window opens.
4. Specify whether selecting an option is required.
5. Specify whether your customers can choose multiple options.
6. Confirm with [Next].
7. Tap [+ Add Option].
8. In the second step, enter the first option for the option group Milk, e.g. Cow's milk.
9. To confirm the new option, tap on [Create new option].
   ⮕ The Create Option window opens.

   If you have already created options, they will be suggested to you here. You can either add existing options to the option group or create new options.

10. Enter the price of the option in the field Option Price if necessary.
11. Enter the taxation of the option in the field Option Tax.
12. Confirm with [Next].
13. In the next step, enter your source material.
14. Confirm with [Complete]. ⮕ You have added the first option to your option group.
15. Add as many options as you want to your option group.
16. In order for the option group to be used, it must be saved.
    To do this, tap on [Create]. ⮕ The Create option group window closes. The new option group with the options is displayed in the list.
