You can rename your barcode scanners. This can make it easier for you to identify them if you use multiple scanners in your store. In this How-To, you will learn how to rename your barcode scanner.
Open the Business Account > Devices in the POS menu. ⮕ The view of the current cash register or device is displayed.
Tap on Connected. ⮕ All devices connected to the cash register or device are displayed. This also includes the barcode scanner.
Tap on the barcode scanner you want to rename.
Tap on to make changes. ⮕ The Device Details window opens.
Tap on the field that displays the name of the barcode scanner.
Rename the barcode scanner as you wish.
Tap on [Confirm] to apply the change. ⮕ The Device Details window closes. The barcode scanner has been successfully renamed and can now be found under its new name.
