Define Default Options on a Build to Order Sales Item
You offer a Build to Order sales item with options that come standard with the sales item? In this case, you set these options as default options in enforePOS. In addition, you can specify whether deselected default options should be calculated with other options. You will learn how to do that in this How-To.
If you have a Build to Order sales item with different variants, you will need to make the settings for the options in each variant individually.
Tap on the sales items whose options you want to edit. ⮕ The window with the product details opens.
Select the Options tab.
Tap on the option that is to be edited. ⮕ The Edit option window opens.
Define Price Mode and Number of Selections
Tap on Pricing mode. ⮕ The submenu opens.
Tap on [Clearable] if deselecting this option should create credit on sale that can be offset against other options.
Tap on [Not clearable] if the credit created by deselecting the option cannot be used for other options.
Activate the option Allow Multiple if the option should be selectable multiple times.
Set Options as Default Options
Tap on [Default option]. ⮕ You have set the option as the default option. ⮕ The subordinate selection options (Default quantity, Option is included in price, and Reduction pricing) are displayed.
Make Settings for Default Options
Enter the default quantity.
To be able to save the option, the default quantity must be at least 1.
Enable Option is included in Price if the option price should be included in the product price.
Tap on the Price reduction field.
Tap on Reduction pricing if you want the total price of the sales item to be reduced by the option price when the option is deselected.
Select Increase credit if deselecting this option should create credit that can be used for other options. This credit does not change the total price of the sales item.
Select No change if neither the balance nor the price should change when this option is deselected.

Application in the Cash Register
In the POS menu, open Sales > Register.
Tap on the sales item with default options. ⮕ The Select Options window opens. In the upper area, the sales item is displayed with the associated standard options. In the lower area, the default options, which are highlighted in blue, are also displayed. The additional options that are selectable for the sales item are displayed with a white background.
Reduce Price
If you have chosen this for your option, the previously set option price will be deducted from the total price of the sales item when you deselect the option.
Swipe from right to left on the option you want to deselect. In our example, we deselect the cocoa.
Tap on .⮕ The Cocoa option is deselected and the price of the sales item is adjusted.
Increase Credit
Unlike the Reduce price option, if the Increase credit option is selected, the option price is not offset against the total price of the sales item. However, a credit is built up, which is offset when further options are selected.
Swipe from right to left on the option you want to deselect. In our example, we deselect the cocoa.
Tap on .⮕ The Cocoa option is deselected, and no adjustment is made to the sales item price.
Select an additional option. In this example we add another portion of cinnamon. ⮕ The Cinnamon option (0,50€) is added, the credit of the deselected Cocoa option (0,30€) is credited. There will be an adjustment of the sales item price by 0,20€.
