If you want to work with table reservations in enforePOS, two basic steps are necessary: you need to create tables as resources and link them to the table services.
In this How-To we explain how to create a table service in just a few steps.
It does not matter whether you first create the table as a resource or the table service. You can link the two afterwards.
In the POS menu, open Reservations > Services.
Tap on in the header to create a new service. The Create new Service window opens.
In the Create new Service window, select Table Service. ⮕ The window with the table service details opens.
Enter the following information in the Identity step:
Name: name your table service.
ID: optionally enter an ID here.
Location: choose at which POS locations you want to offer this table service.
Duration: set the duration of the table service.
Description: optionally add a short description for this table service.
Confirm your entries by tapping [Next].
If you have already created tables as resources, select the tables at which you want to offer this table service in the Tables step. If you haven't created any tables yet, skip this step. You can link the table service to a table afterwards. Find out how to create tables as resources here.
Tap [Create]. ⮕ You have successfully created a table service. It is displayed in the overview of services.
