What is the serial number of the device? Which version of enforePOS is used on the respective device? Answers to all these questions can be found in the device information. There, you can view all relevant information of your registered device or all your other devices. You can copy the information to the clipboard on a Windows or Mac client to submit to our enforeCare team. You can also start remote maintenance access directly from there.
Follow the steps below to access the device information:
Device Information of the Logged In Device
In the POS menu, open Business Account > Devices. ⮕ The view for the cash register settings opens.
Tap on in the upper right corner. ⮕ The Device Information window opens.
In this window you will find all the information necessary for the identification of your enfore device. You can also start the remote maintenance access from here.
If you want to pass on the device-related information to customer care, click on in the upper right corner of the Mac or Windows client to copy the information. ⮕ The information has been copied to the clipboard.
Device Information from Other Devices
In the POS menu, open Business Account > Devices.
Switch to the Device Management overview.
Swipe from right to left on the device whose information you want to view.
Tap . ⮕ The Device Information window opens. Here you will find the information necessary for the identification of the respective device.
