Display Order Summary before Checkout

This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.

Have you added all sales items of an order to the basket and would like to review all the order details before you check out? With enforePOS, this is possible. In this How-To, we will show you how to do it.

1. Tap on [Checkout Order] after you have loaded all sales items into the basket in the cash register. ⮕ The Order Summary window opens.
   You will be shown an overview of your order. In this overview, you will see the total amount of the order, the individual order items with any pre-assigned discounts, the Overview tab with information about the customer or tag as well as the total price and discounts, the Discounts & Vouchers tab with the discounts and vouchers assigned to the order, and the Special Instructions tab where you can add special instructions to the order.
2. Tap on [Confirm] after you have checked all details of the order.

  In this tab you can edit or remove the customer, add or remove tags or assign a custom order discount.

  Edit or remove customers

  To edit or remove a customer, proceed as follows:

  1. Tap on the field below the order number.

     Depending on the settings you have made for your cash register, either the customer or the tag is displayed in this field.

     ⮕ The Properties window opens.
  2. Tap on the Customer field. ⮕ The Please select window opens.
  3. Tap on [Edit] if you want to change the customer details.
  4. Tap on [Change] if you want to select another customer.
  5. Tap on [Remove] if you want to remove the customer.

  Assign Custom Order Discount

  To assign a custom order discount, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Discounts & Vouchers section, tap on No discount . ⮕ The Custom Order Discount window opens.
  2. Choose the amount of the discount.
  3. Select a reason for the discount, if applicable.

     Depending on the settings you have made for your cash register, the selection of a reason here is either optional, mandatory, or not allowed.

  4. Tap on [Accept discount].

• Discounts & Vouchers

  This tab displays the discounts applied to the order or order items in advance.

• Special Instructions

  In this tab you can add special instructions to the order.

Scan function

The scan function makes it possible to apply an external loyalty program or promotion or a customer card to the order.

1. First, tap on to scan an external loyalty program, promotion, or customer card. ⮕ The Scan Barcode window opens.
2. Scan the barcode, or tap on Enter Barcode if you want to enter the barcode manually.⮕ The Enter Barcode window opens.
3. Enter the barcode.
4. Tap on [Confirm].
