This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.
One of your staff members is finishing their shift, but still has open orders, and you want to make sure the open orders are processed? Then you can set up to prompt staff members to transfer their open orders to another staff member at the end of their shift. In the following, we will explain where you can make this setting and what the procedure is when you end the shift.
Requirements
You have activated the Orders must be handed over before closing option in the POS menu under Sales > Accounting > Settings > Business Day Management tab
At least one other staff member is logged in at the POS location
Open Accounting in the POS menu.
Tap on the staff member who is logged in.
Tap on [End Shift]. ⮕ The Reassign Orders window opens.
Select all open orders.
Tap on [Reassign].⮕ The Reassign Order window opens.
Select the staff member to whom you want to transfer the open orders.
Specify whether the revenue should be transferred to the staff member.
Tap on [Assign].⮕ You have successfully transferred the open orders to the selected staff member.
