Process Open Orders when Closing the Device Business Day
This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.
Do you want to make sure that open orders are processed before the end of the business day on a device? With enforePOS, this is possible. In this How-To, we will show you how to do it.
In the POS menu under Accounting > Settings > Business day management tab, the option Orders must be completed before closing is activated
Open Accounting in the POS menu.
Tap on your device.
Tap on [Close Business Day].⮕ The following message appears. Here you have 2 options:
Tap on [Cancel] if you want to close the message. You then have to open your cash register manually and process your open orders via Order Management.
Tap on [Register]. You will be forwarded directly to the cash register where your open orders are located.
Complete your open sales and invoices under Still open. You can find out what options you have in the How-To Process released open orders. ⮕ After you have successfully processed all open orders on your device, you will see this view: Now you can complete your device business day in the Accounting area.
