Password Reset

You forgot your password and cannot log in anymore? No problem! Here we show you how to reset your password.
How you reset the password depends on whether your account was created with an email address or with a username.

Requirements

Staff Member Account Was Created with an Email Address

When you log in to enforePOS with your email address, follow these steps to reset your password: 

  1. In the Login window, tap on Did you forget your password? 
    ⮕ The Forgot Password window opens.
  2. Enter the email address in the Login email field.
  3. Tap on [Reset Password].mceclip0.png ⮕ The window with the prompt Please click the link in the email appears.
  4. Tap on [Confirm]. mceclip1.png ⮕ You will receive an email from care@enfore.com with a link to reset your password.
  5. Tap on [Reset Password] in the email. mceclip2.png

    The link is only valid for one hour. When this period has elapsed, repeat steps 1 - 5.

    ⮕ The enfore website opens.
  6. In the New Password field, enter the new password you want.

    Your password must consist of at least 8 characters. In addition, known weak passwords or easily guessed passwords such as "1234" or "password" cannot be used. We recommend using a strong password in order to protect your data from access by third parties.

  7. Enter the password again in the Repeat Password field.
  8. Confirm your entry by tapping on [Change Password]. mceclip3.png ⮕ Your password has been changed successfully. You can use it to log in to enforePOS as usual.

Staff Member Was Created with Username and Password

When you log in to enforePOS with username and password, the owner of the business account must reset the password for you. Tap on [Did you forget your password?] in the login window and you will be prompted to contact the administrator in the Forgot Password window: mceclip8.png To reset the password of a staff member account with username as the business account owner, follow these steps:

  1. Open Business Account > Staff Members in the POS menu.
  2. Select the staff member whose password you want to reset. mceclip4.png ⮕ The staff member's profile opens.
  3. Tap on [Reset Password] in the Contact Details tab. mceclip5.png ⮕ The Reset Password window opens. 
  4. Enter a new password in the New Password field.
  5. Enter the password again in the Repeat New Password field.
  6. Tap on [Reset Password]. mceclip6.png ⮕ The Your Login Password window opens. 
  7. Enter your password.
  8. Tap on [Confirm]. mceclip7.png ⮕ The password has been changed. Next time your staff member logs in, they will be asked to change their password.
