Show Keypad

This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.

The keypad in enforePOS allows you to quickly enter an article number, the quantity of a sales item, a price for a miscellaneous sales item or a percentage discount using a numeric keypad. It also gives you quick access to certain functions, e.g. lock screen, change user or add negative items.

Display Keypad as a Tab in the Cash Register

Would you like the keypad to be displayed as a separate tab in your checkout view? To do this, proceed as follows:

1. In the POS menu, open More > [Cash register name] at the top right.
2. Switch to the My Functions tab.
3. Swipe down to the Keypad area.
4. Activate the option Show keypad in sales item navigation. ⮕ The keypad is displayed as a separate tab in your cash register.

Call up the Keypad via the Basket

Would you like to be able to call up the keypad via the basket? In the My functions tab, you can specify whether and how the keypad should be displayed in the top or bottom basket toolbar. You can also specify that certain attributes should be selected, e.g. article number, customer number or number of units.

Keypad for Items in the Basket

You can also display the keypad for individual items in your basket. This allows you to adjust the number of units of this sales item, define a price per unit or apply a percentage discount to the sales item. You also have quick access to product-related functions, e.g. cancel, add notes or copy sales items.

To display the keypad for an individual position, proceed as follows:

1. Add a sales item to your basket.
2. Tap on the sales item in the basket.⮕ The Edit item window opens. You can find out what actions can be performed using the keypad in the How-To Working with the keypad.
