This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.
In this How-To, you will learn how to work with the keypad.
When you use the keypad to make an entry in the cash register, you always perform the action for the next sales item that you add to the basket. Alternatively, you can use the keypad to edit sales items that are already in your basket.

Requirements
1 - You can select a modifier and use it to define certain attributes (in our example, the number of units of a sales item, a barcode (or item or customer number), a price for a miscellaneous sales item or a percentage discount).
2 - You can also enter a number first using the numeric keypad. Then select a modifier (see 1).
3 - If you have added functions to your keypad toolbar, you have quick access to these functions via the keypad toolbar (e.g. Lock Screen, Switch User, Issue Voucher or Add Negative Item).
If you enter the value using the numeric keypad, confirm your entry with .
You can also enter a percentage discount as a decimal value. To do this, close the keypad, select a sales item in the cash register and tap on the item in the basket. Then tap on in the Edit Line Item window and then on No discount
, enter the decimal percentage value and confirm with
.
The keypad function bar gives you quick access to functions such as Lock Screen, Switch User or Add Negative Item.
