This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.
In this How-To, we will give you an overview of the individual functions that you can integrate into the top or bottom basket toolbar, your manual grid or your keypad. The functions allow you to carry out certain transactions without leaving your cash register view.
You can access the functions in the POS menu under More > (tap on the POS name at the top right) > My functions tab > [+ Add function].
The functions are divided into four categories: Order taking, Line items, Scanning and Others.

Customer | This function allows you to add a customer to an order. |

Tags | This function allows you to add a tag to an order. |

Scanner | You can use this function to activate your scanner and scan customer cards or sales items. |

Add Sales Orders |
Would your customer like to have a sales item delivered in addition to an order or pick it up later? You can use this function to add a pick-up or delivery order to your order in the basket. |

Add Invoicing Items |
You can use this function to load an open order into the basket. You have the choice between orders to be settled later and invoices to be paid later. The function can be used independently or in combination with an active order. |

Add Refund |
Would you like to cancel an invoice without leaving your checkout view? This function allows you to scan the QR code of an invoice or enter the invoice number manually. You can then cancel individual items or the entire invoice. The function can be used independently or in combination with an active order. |

Sales History | Want to get to your sales history quickly? This function allows you to open your sales history without leaving the cash register view. |
 |
Order Management Mode | This function takes you quickly to the order overview of your order taking module. |
 |
Print Recent Documents | Would you like to print the last document you printed again? This function makes it possible. |
 |
Void sale | Would you like to cancel your entire order at once? This function makes it possible. |
 |
Split Settlement | Do your customers want to split the invoice and pay separately? This function takes you directly to the split settlement. |
 |
New sale | This function allows you to park or cancel an open order so that you can place a new order without leaving your checkout view. |

Change dining mode |
Would your customer like to order a sales item to take away? This function allows you to switch between the inhouse and take away order types for the entire order. |

Edit Special Instructions | This function allows you to add, modify or remove comments on an order. |
 |
Print pro forma Invoices | Would your customer like an overview of their current order? You can use this function to print a pro forma invoice. |

Add % Discount | This function allows you to add a custom discount to an order. You can find out more about this in the Custom Discounts How-To. |

Recharge Customer Account | Would your customer like to top up their customer account? This function allows you to do this without having to leave the checkout view. |
 |
Quick Checkout | This function allows you to bill orders directly using a preconfigured payment method. |
 |
Print Production Slips | Are your production slips damaged or illegible? You can use this function to reprint the production receipts you have already created. |
 |
Negative Input | Would your customer like to return a deposit? With this function, you can enter a negative amount and thus quickly save the deposit. |
 |
Keypad | You can use this function to open your keypad. You can use the keypad to enter the quantity of a sales item or assign a percentage or price discount, among other things. |

Void Last Item |
You want to cancel the last item of an order? This is possible with this function. |

Duplicate Last Item | Would you like to duplicate the last item of an order? This is possible with this function. |

Increase Number of Units | You can use this function to increase the number of the last post added. |

Decrease Number of Units | You can use this function to reduce the number of the last post added. |

Lock Screen | This function allows you to lock the screen of your cash register to prevent unauthorized access by third parties. |

Switch User | This function allows you to change the user so that another staff member can log in to the cash register. |

Open Website |
Your customer wants to buy a sales item that is unfortunately no longer in stock and you want to order the sales item directly online? The Open website function allows you to call up a website directly in your cash register. We explain to you how to do this in this How-To. |
