Customize Keypad

This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.

In this How-To, you will learn how to set up your keypad. Depending on how you work, you can customize your keypad to suit your needs and simplify your cash register workflows.

  1. Open More > [Cash register name] in the POS menu.
  2. Switch to the My Functions tab.

Add Modifiers

In the Modifiers section, you can add attributes such as a product or customer identifier to your keypad and arrange them in any order depending on their relevance.Capture d’écran 2024-04-18 à 13.35.42.png

  1. Tap on [+ Add modifier].Capture d’écran 2024-04-18 à 13.36.29.png ⮕ The Add modifier window opens.
  2. Select which modifier you would like to add. In our example, we select Product identifier.Capture d’écran 2024-04-18 à 13.37.14.png

    A maximum of 4 modifiers can be displayed in the keypad at the same time.

Change the Order of the Modifiers

You can change the order of the modifiers as follows:

The order set here defines the order in which the modifiers are displayed on your keypad in the cash register (in our example, the discount modifier is on the 2nd position):

Remove Modifiers

  1. Swipe from right to left on the modifier you want to remove from the keypad.
  2. Tap on Trash.svg.Capture d’écran 2024-04-18 à 14.05.28.png ⮕ You have removed the modifier.

Configuring the Keypad Function Bar

In the Keypad functions bar area, you can select which functions you want to access from your keypad. It is recommended that you select functions that you use most frequently in the cash register.

  2. Select the type of function you want to add. You can choose between Workflow function, Sales item function and Spacer.Capture d’écran 2024-04-18 à 14.08.43.png

    You can use a workflow function to perform a specific function (e.g. scan voucher or lock screen). You can find out more about the various functions in the How-To Overview - My Functions. 
    The sales item function allows you to add a sales item that you sell particularly frequently and want to be able to access via your keypad.
