You want your restaurant to, for example, print out the recorded order at the assembly location? In enforePOS, you can link the receipt printer you have already set up to any assembly location, like your kitchen or counter, in just a few steps.
When you have set up your assembly location and your external receipt printer, you can assign the receipt printer to the desired assembly location:
In the POS menu, open Order Management > Order Settings.
Tap on the overview of Assembly Locations. ⮕ All assembly locations per POS location are displayed.
Select the assembly location you want to associate with the document printer.
Under Business Documents, activate the Print assembly list option.
In the Devices sections, tap on Assembly Slip Printer. ⮕ The Select Assembly Slip Printer window opens.
Tap on the printer that you want to link to the assembly location.
Tap on [Complete]. ⮕ The selected document printer is displayed as the printer for assembly list. If you want to select a printer for take away assembly slips or for line item slips, repeat steps 5-7 in the Printer for take away assembly list or Printer for line item slips field.
