If you have already counted your stock, you can export and print the inventory list. This way you can count your sales items and enter the values later collected in enforePOS.
Exporting an inventory list is only possible with a preview code. If you would like to know this preview code, feel free to contact our enforeCare Team at care@enfore.com.
To export the inventory list, proceed as follows:
Open in the POS menu Inventory > Inventory List.
Tap in the upper right corner on .
Select [Export Stock of Inventory].⮕ The Recipient window opens.
Enter a recipient.
When you create the recipient for the first time, enter the name and email address of the recipient.
Confirm your entry with .⮕ You have successfully exported the inventory list.
Tap on [Confirm]. ⮕ A ZIP file is sent to the recipient by email. The file name results from the day and time of the export. The ZIP file contains the file stock.csv, which you can open with a spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel) and print out.
Start Inventory
Open Inventory > Stock Taking in the POS menu to start the inventory.
Tap on in the upper right corner. ⮕ The New Inventory window opens.
Enter a name or description for the inventory in the first field.
Choose your storage location.
Select the person responsible for the stock taking. This is usually the currently logged-in user.
Confirm your entry with .⮕ The Inventory window opens.
The inventories are numbered consecutively.
Counting Sales Items
(1) The inventory number is assigned automatically and in chronological order in enforePOS.
(2) In the header, you will see the storage location(s) you selected for the inventory.
(3) You can filter the sales items by status.
(4) The symbol indicates that the sales item has not been counted yet.
Tap on the sales item you want to count.⮕ The Count Inventory window opens. The already counted stock is displayed.
The stock of a sales item that you have not counted so far, but that you have already sold from the cash register, is displayed as negative stock (e.g. -20). Sales items with negative stock are also displayed as to be counted in the inventory.
Use the number field to enter the new stock.
Confirm your input with . ⮕ The new stock is displayed in the Counting column.
Tap on [Save count].
The Pause button allows you to pause the count. To continue counting afterwards, tap on in the Inventory window.
⮕ The icon indicates that the sales item has been counted and the counted inventory matches the expected inventory.
Recount Sales Items
When a sales item is recounted, the previous counting result is replaced.
There are two ways to make a new count of the already counted sales item. You can either tap on the sales item or swipe over it.
Tap on the sales item
Tap on the sales item in the product list. The following note appears:
Confirm with [Recount]. ⮕ The Count Inventory window opens.
Swipe over the sales item
Swipe from right to left on the sales item.
Tap on .⮕ The Count Inventory window opens.
Enter the new count, or reset the count.
Confirm the input with .
Tap on [Update Counting] or on .
Reconcile Stock Differences
If the actual stock of a sales item differs from the expected stock, you can use the Reconcile function to enter reasons for the stock difference.
In order for stock differences to be marked as Unreconciled during inventory, the settings Do not show current stock level in Stock Taking and Reconcile automatically in Stock Taking must be deactivated under Inventory > Inventory Settings.
Enter the actual stock. In this case, the actual stock is lower than the expected stock.
Confirm your entry with .⮕ The difference is displayed in the Difference column. The sales item is marked as Unreconciled.
Tap on [Update Counting].⮕ The sales item is marked as Unreconciled.
Tap again on the sales item which is to be reconciled. ⮕ The Inventory reconciliation window opens.
Enter the amount by which the actual stock differs from the expected stock.
Confirm with .⮕ The Decrease window opens.
Select a reason here. In this case we choose Correction.
Tap on [Reconcile].⮕ The stock difference has been reconciled.
Complete Inventory
When you have counted the stock of all sales items, you can complete the inventory. To do this, proceed as follows:
Tap in the header on .⮕ The inventory is marked as Completed.
Export Inventory List
When the inventory is completed, you can export and print the inventory list. To do this, proceed as follows:
Open Inventory > Stock Taking in the POS menu.
Open the inventory you want to export.
Tap on in the upper right corner. ⮕ The Recipient window opens.
Enter a recipient and confirm with .⮕ A window appears to notify you of the successful export.
Tap on [Confirm].⮕ A ZIP file is sent to the recipient by email. The file name results from the day and time of the export. The ZIP file contains the file content.csv, which you can open with a spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel) and print.
