Your customer would like to pay for his purchased goods partly in cash and partly with a gift card. In this How-To, you will learn how to redeem gift cards in enforePOS as part of the payment process.
Requirements
You have activated the Allow Gift Card Payments option in the sales settings in the Payment tab.
Tap in the cash register on . ⮕ The Select Payment Method window opens.
Select Gift Card as payment method. ⮕ The Scan or enter Barcode window opens.
Scan the barcode or enter it manually.
Confirm your entry with . ⮕ The gift card with its credit is displayed as a partial amount in the Other section.
Tap on [Confirm] if you want to use the gift card for partial payment. ⮕ The credit is offset against the payment as a partial amount. ⮕ The Receipt window opens. Besides the possibility to choose the way in which the receipt is delivered, the top line displays the calculated amount of the total invoice amount.
Tap on [Complete]. ⮕ The Additional partial payment window opens.
Choose here if you want to make another partial payment.
Tap on [Yes].⮕ The Select payment method window opens again.
Select the payment method for the partial payment. ⮕ If the payment covers the outstanding balance, the payment will be completed after another receipt query.
