Change the Dining Option in the Cash Register

You have set a default dining option in your cash register settings and now you want to apply a different dining option to a sale because, for example, a customer wants to take home another dish after eating at your place? In this How-To, you will learn how to switch between inhouse and take away sales. 

When using courses in the gastro cash register, the dining option cannot be changed in the cash register. In this case, simply create another order to check out the corresponding sales items. 

In the example, Inhouse is set as the default. A specific sales item of an order or an entire order is to be carried out as a Take Away sale.

1. Open Sales > Sales Register. 
2. Select the sales items you want to sell. 
3. Swipe from right to left on the sales item for which you want to change the dining option.
   ⮕ The function menu is displayed.
4. Tap on to change the dining option.
   ⮕ The Dining Option for Line Item window opens.
5. Select the dining option. In our example, we choose Take Away. 
6. If you want to change the dining option only for the selected sales item, tap [Apply].
7. If you want to change the dining option for the entire order, tap [Full Order].  If you add more sales items to the order, they will automatically be marked as Take Away.
   ⮕ The dining option for the sales item or for the order has been changed.
   ⮕ You can recognize the dining option Take Away by the symbol to the right of the respective sales item, as well as by a blue line to the left of the respective sales item.
