Create and Manage Safebags

This How-To describes new functions and workflows that are only available in enforePOS 2. This version is exclusively available to customers participating in the enforePOS 2 Early Access program.

In this How-To, we will explain how to create safebags from a cash withdrawal, how to manage safebags, and how to define restrictions for safebag identifiers.

Create Safebags

Unlike petty cash and cash vaults, safebags are not added manually. Instead, they are created during a cash withdrawal. A Safebag is used for either a cash transaction to a bank account or to a cash supply company.

In the following example, we have finished the shift and are making a cash withdrawal after the cash count.

Requirements

  1. Tap on [Cash Drawing].1_ENx.png
  2. Choose a target with safebag. In our example, we choose Bank Account (with Safebag).2_ENx.png
  3. Choose a bank account.3_ENx.png
  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Choose a reason for the cash transaction.
  6. Optionally enter a description.
  7. Tap on [Complete].4_ENx.png
  8. Tap on [End Shift].5_ENx.png
  9. Tap on CloseButton.svg.6_EN.png

Manage Safebags

  1. Tap on the safebag.8_EN.png
The contents of each tab are described in the following:
  2. Tap on [Picked up] to mark the safebag as picked up. The safebag will then disappear from the list.11_EN.png
Alternatively, you can tap on SingleSelectionCheck.svg on the right side of the safebag list to mark the safebag as picked up.12_EN.png
  3. Tap on [Reject] if you want to delete the safebag.13_EN.png

To be able to reject a safebag, a cash vault is required.
