Immediate Pickup - Work with a Separate Guest Call System

You can use enforePOS with various external guest call systems. Your guests order, pay and then receive a pager to take to the table. When the order is ready, activate the pager - it beeps, flashes and vibrates to let guests know they can pick up their order.
To make this work, add the pager number to the order in enforePOS. For the kitchen, the pager number is printed on the assembly slip.

Requirements

Set Immediate Pickup Sales Type at the Sales Channel

  1. In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Channels.
  2. Select the sales channel in the left column.
  3. Tap Edit-15.svg in the upper right corner to edit the sales channel.

  4. Activate the Pickup sales type.

  5. Enable Immediately.
  6. Tap on NavbarCheckmark-15.png.

  7. Confirm the settings with NavbarCheckmark-15.svg.

Set up Pickup Sales Type in the Cash Register

In addition to the settings at the POS location, you must enable the Pickup sales type at the register where you want to use the Guest Call system.

  1. In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Settings
    ⮕ The Register view opens.
  2. Activate the Pickup sales type. 5_EN.png⮕ The Pickup Options window opens. 
  3. Enable Immediately.

    If you have both Immediately and Scheduled enabled as pickup types on your sales channel and in the sales settings, enable the Immediate Pickup is Default option to work with immediate pickup.

  4. Confirm with NavbarCheckmark-15.png.

Enable Pickup Advice 

In order to work with the guest call system, you must now activate the pickup advice. 

  1. Open Order Management > Order Settings.
  2. Switch to the Pickup tab.
  3. Tap on Pickup Advice in the Business Documents section.

  4. Activate the Notify Pager option. 
  5. Confirm with NavbarCheckmark-15.png

Enter Pager Number when ordering

Once you have made all the settings described above, you will specify the pager number for each order.

  1. Open Sales > Register.
  2. Switch to the Pickup tab. 
  3. Select the desired sales item.

  4. Enter the number of the pager and confirm with NavbarCheckmark-15.svg.

  5. If you are working with assembly slips, the assembly slip will now be printed with the pager number.

  6. When the order is ready, you can call the pager using your paging system's transmit terminal.
    The pager flashes, beeps and vibrates, and the guests can pick up their order.
  7. To deactivate the pager, place it in the designated station.
