In this How-To, you will learn how to create assembly locations for your Build to Order sales items in the Build To Order part of the This Device overview. If you have assembly locations (such as kitchen, counter) with an assigned receipt printer in your business, you can print orders at these assembly locations.
Alternatively, you can create assembly locations in the POS menu under Order Management > Order Settings. We'll show you how to do this here.
Once an assembly location has been created, it cannot be deleted.
In the POS menu, open Sales > Sales Settings.
Tap on Build To Order.
Add New Assembly Location
Tap [+ Add Assembly Location].⮕ The Configure Assembly Locations window opens.
In the Name field, enter the name of the assembly location. In our example, we call the assembly location Kitchen 2.
Optionally tap the Storage Locations field to select the storage location.

⮕ The Storage Locations window opens. Your POS location is preselected as the storage location.
Select another storage location, or tap if you want to keep your storage location. ⮕ The Storage Locations window closes.
Save your settings with . ⮕ The Configure Assembly Locations window closes. You have successfully created an assembly location.
Select Preferred Assembly Locations
If your sales items can be prepared at several assembly locations, you can define at which assembly location the preparation should preferably take place. To do this, proceed as follows:
In the Assembly Locations section, select the assembly locations to be preferred in the cash register.
